Day lilies, roselle and aboringnal style-taimali, the home of the sunrise
The townships of Jinfong and Taimali in the Taimali region of Taitung County are quite remote so most of the residents work primarily in agricultural production, resulting in limited access to government assistance and grants. Difficulties in transmitting information, transportation and higher training costs mean that most localbusinesses survived as best as they could on their own.
Industry assistance resources are limited in eastern Taiwan, with the size and nature of local businesses were also quite different from the industry clusters in the west. To make the most effective use of governmentresources in helping eligible and willing local operators transform and upgrade their business, the program encompassed legal small and medium enterprises in the Jinfong and Taimali townships of Taitung’s Taimali region.
